Designed to create extra space in the bedroom, our Camp Bunk System combines the charm and strength of classic plank furniture with the versatility of a completely modular setup. HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Navy and Simply White finished pieces are crafted from solid sap gum wood, beech wood, engineered wood and MDF. Stone Gray finished pieces are crafted from solid oak wood, oak veneers, beech wood, engineered wood and MDF. Chocolate finished pieces are crafted from solid poplar wood, sap gum, beech wood, oak veneers, basswood veneers, engineered wood and MDF. Sandstone finished pieces are crafted from ash wood, ash and basswood veneers, plywood, beech wood and MDF. Masterfully constructed with a kiln-dried solid wood frame and tenon-and-groove construction for structural integrity. Drawers feature English dovetail joinery, and waxed wooden glides, which ensure smooth motion. Sturdy half-moon safety stops keep drawers securely in place. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture with flawless surfaces and consistent color tones. Our finishes were developed exclusively for Pottery Barn Kids and sealed with a final coat of lacquer for extra durability. Made in a Fair Trade Certified(TM) factory, supporting fair and safe labor practices and empowering workers to invest in their communities. DETAILS THAT MATTER Simply White, Navy, and Chocolate finished pieces feature brushed nickel metal hardware. Stone Gray and Sandstone finishes features black metal hardware. A bunk mattress (all mattresses are sold separately) must be used on the upper bunk; do not use a box spring on either bed. Includes top bunk with guardrail, ladder, desk, drawer, and an open shelving unit. Ladder can be installed on either side of loft. Desk, drawer and open shelving unit are accessible from both sides.
